T1000-E vs WisMesh Tag: which card-size Meshtastic tracker?

Both are credit-card-sized Meshtastic trackers in the same price range that come ready to use. Here's how they compare on paper, using the makers' and sellers' published specs.

The differences that matter

Heads up: RAK's product page has its own comparison table claiming the Tag has faster GPS fixes than the T1000-E. That's the maker's claim, and we haven't tested it.

Bottom line

If they cost the same, the WisMesh Tag's bigger battery and slightly better IP rating give it the edge on paper. If you can find the T1000-E for less, or you want Seeed's accessories (charging puck, clips), it's an equally capable pick. Either works with your phone through the Meshtastic app.
