About MeshCompare

MeshCompare is an independent comparison site for people who want to keep in touch beyond cell coverage, whether that's hikers, campers, rural families, preppers, or anyone who'd rather not depend on one network.

It's run by an engineer who loves the outdoors and the quiet out there. We don't do hype, fake reviews, or made-up star ratings.

How we collect data

• Prices are checked by a person on the seller's own product page (for example Rokland, RAKwireless, Seeed Studio, LILYGO, muzi works, Garmin, ZOLEO, SPOT). We don't run bots or scrapers against stores whose terms forbid it. Each price shows the date we checked it.
• Specs come from the maker's product page, the maker's official GitHub hardware docs, or the official Meshtastic hardware docs. The source is linked next to every device.
• If we can't confirm a value, we leave it blank and label it unverified. We never fill in a guess.
• Plan prices and terms come from each provider's plan page. They change often, so check the linked page before you buy.

What we don't do

• We don't publish reviews of products we haven't tested hands-on. When we do test something, we'll say so.
• We don't accept payment for rankings.
